Then we attempted to replace our crappy back door with some beautiful french doors.. .Here is the before and after picture...
And finally, we decided to clean the tent that Dad so graciously loaned to us for Cub Scouts. What a pain that was, first, we were unsure of how to put it up, then it turned us into smurfs... though the kids had no idea what smurfs were...
But alas, Success....
Tom decided it would be worth testing, so he took a three hour long nap... under the canopy... Sarah chose the couch.
And no Memorial weekend would be complete without at least getting in the water. Yep, the same pool we painted... Do you have any idea how cold that is.. .LOL Bet the kids can tell ya.
IN addition to all of this, Joe managed to get in some fishing with his friends on a Charter Boat out on Lake Saint Clair, he didn't catch anything he could keep, but had a blast anyway. They fished on the Canadian side of the lake, and fished from about 8 am till about 7 pm... Great times.
